Her Shop began as a seed planted in my childhood in China—a time when life was simple and most people lived with very little. As a little girl, I carried a deep love for beauty and creativity. My mother worked at a sewing factory, and each day she would bring home scraps of fabric. While others saw only leftovers, I saw endless possibilities.

From those scraps, I sewed together my first doll. She quickly became my muse. I named her and spent hours designing clothes for her—traditional Chinese dresses from fabric remnants, jewelry crafted from saved candy wrappers. I cherished every detail, dressing her like a fairy and capturing the vision of beauty I dreamed about.

But as I grew older, life took me on a different path. I studied engineering in space science, a journey far removed from sewing kits and childhood dreams. Yet the spark of creativity never left me. It rested quietly within—a dream waiting for the right moment to bloom again.

Years later, as a mother to two wonderful daughters—both gifted artists and budding fashion designers—I saw reflections of my younger self in them: their love for design, their creativity, their passion for beauty. Watching them brought that long-quiet dream back to life.

Inspired by my daughters, I wanted to share the joy of design, beauty, and self-expression with others. Together with them, and with an amazing team of creative, dedicated women, we launched Her Shop.

Her Shop isn’t just a store. It’s a place where dreams of beauty and confidence are within reach, where every girl can create her dream dress without breaking the bank. We believe every woman deserves to live beautifully and freely—empowered to express herself with joy and confidence.
